AI Maturity: From Mini-Audit to Enterprise Compliance Package
Maturity diagnosis over quiz scores: organizational AI literacy cannot be captured by a pre/post test. The AIconomics Maturity Model (2026) is a sector-agnostic diagnostic framework for enterprise AI transformation — and exactly the right evaluation unit for organizational change.
1. Why maturity over quiz (Guide 2, §8.2)
org-implementation/evaluation is one of the thinnest cells (5 papers, +100%). Most implementation studies are classroom case reports; the organizational, role-specific, measured evidence (maturity models, task-based evaluation) is scarce. The AIconomics Maturity Model and similar diagnostic frameworks are the exceptions that prove the need.
2. The stages (ALaaS anchoring)
The ALaaS tiers (see Offer tiers) map directly to maturity stages:
- Aware — Mini-audit: 10-minute self-check, role inventory.
- Adopt — Team program: role-specific training + objective baseline/exit assessment.
- Integrate — Enterprise: Stage 2 + Art. 4 evidence package.
- Optimize — continuous upskilling architecture + maturity re-assessment.
- Transform — organizational AI transformation with audit-ready documentation.
3. Design note
A maturity/diagnostic instrument (not just a pre/post quiz) is the right evaluation unit for org-level transformation. Combine it with the task-based quasi-experiment method (Guide 2 §5.1).
